MISSION STATEMENT
The Town of Spring Lake Planning Department is charged with the responsibility of administering the general planning ordinances, subdivision ordinances, zoning ordinances and nuisance ordinances designed to protect the public health, safety and welfare by maintaining quality growth within the Town.
DIRECTOR
Currently, Cumberland County Planning handles most planning items as they relate to the Town. Town staff handles limited items and may direct you to County.

COLLABORATION
Planning for the Town of Spring Lake is a joint collaboration between the Town and the County. Although the Town does not have a full time Planning Director or staff, the Town is fully capable of handling all planning and zoning requirements.
