Spring Lake 2020 is an economic development initiative representing the Town's strategic plan to address projects that need revitalizing. It is a collaboration between the Town and stakeholders who have a commitment to the betterment, development and growth of Spring Lake. It is a redirection of focus on projects and issues that have not received the due diligence they have deserved.

A charatte is a collaborative community planning and design process that brings stakeholders

together in intensive work sessions to develop plans for their neighborhoods or regions.

OVERVIEW:	Each day of the charette has a target audience. Monday is tailored towards those individuals who own property (both land and structures) as well as those with a direct vested interest in and around Main Street. Tuesday is tailored towards community leaders, town partners,elected officials, individuals in and around Spring Lake committed to development and growth in Spring Lake. Wednesday is a work session designed to bring together both audiences in a more technical aspect to better define the vision for moving forward.
	This charette is a design process which will allow everyone in attendance to gain a better understanding of where we are, what will be transpiring and where we want to go. There will be an architect on hand who will render real time sketches of the ideas captured in the work sessions. All ideas are welcome during the brainstorming portion of the work groups. The goal of the charette is to discuss what participants want to see for Main Street by 2020. Wednesday's work group sessions focus on how to get there with more focus on technical aspects and design.
REGISTRATION/ SIGN-UP	Pre-registration is not required but recommended. There are two options for pre-registration. Option one is to fill out the registration form below and return it to Town Hall (electronically, mail or in person) or via the citizen feedback form - in the comment field put SL2020 - (Citizen Feedback).

Once the three (3) day charette is completed, the data compiled and collected, the next project will be announced by the Town.

All information related to completed steps, upcoming events and other happenings as they relate to Spring Lake 2020 will be posted on this page. All updates will be posted as they become available.

As this is an ongoing economic development initiative, the Town will partner with various groups to make the vision for 2020 a reality. The Town is appreciative for all the hard work and cooperation it receives from all its partners and affiliates it works with each and every day.
