Street Maintenance Supervisor Salary Range $30,929.61 - $47,259.55

The Street Maintenance Department is seeking a qualified individual to serve as full-time Street Maintenance Supervisor.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Inspects newly constructed roads and storm sewer
• Builds storm drains and catch basins
• Ensures routine and preventative maintenance is performed on equipment
• Trains and supervises personnel in the operation of equipment and procedures
• Operates heavy and specialized equipment at high skill level
• Pours and finishes concrete
• Leads a labor crew in asphalt patchwork and repair of streets
• Ability to communicate effectively with the public

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Considerable experience in general labor and maintenance work
• Supervisory experience
• NC Commercial Driver License or ability to obtain one in a specified amount of time
• Roadway Pesticide/Herbicide Application License or the ability to obtain within a specified amount of time
