How do I/to whom do I speak with about getting my water turned on?

     Customers must bring in a lease or proof of purchase, picture ID, social security card and $65

     for residential connection and $90 for business connection.   For clarification or more details,

How do I/to whom do I speak with in regards to getting my water turned off?

     Customers must come in to the Water department and fill out a disconnect form.  For

How do I/to whom do I speak with in regards to getting a water account changed to my name or to my new address?

     Customers must provide a lease with their name on it and pay a transfer fee.  For

How do I/to whom do I speak with in regards to scheduling an inspection?

Who do I speak with in regards to animal/animal control issues?

     Contact the Spring Lake Police Department which is in charge of Animal Control at (910) 436-0350 during normal business hours or after hours.  If it is a true emergency (matter of life and death or a dangerous situation and cannot wait) call 911.

What are the days for trash pick up?

     Contact Waste management at (910) 480-4010.

Who do I call to find out if practice for a sport has been cancelled?

     Call the Recreation Department at (910) 436-0011 and listen for the Inclement Weather

     option.

How do I register my child for sports?

     Call the recreation Department at (910) 436-0011 or click Athletic Registration for more

     information.

How do I request a fire inspection for my business?

     Call the Fire Department at (910) 436-0337 and ask for the fire inspector.

How do I secure a Fire Department Construction Permit for my commercial fire alarm or fire suppression system?

     All Fire Department Construction permits are handled through the Fire Prevention and Life

     Safety Division of the Fire Department.  Applications for construction permits may be picked

     up at the Fire Station and must be returned with three (3) sets of the construction plans for

     the alarm or suppression system and funds for the fees associated with the construction

     permit.  Fees for alarm systems are $35 and for suppression systems $50.  For more

     information, call the Fire Department at (910) 436-0337.

How do I request a visit from the Fire Department for my day care or school?

     Contact the Fire Prevention and Life safety Division of the Fire Department at

     (910) 436-0337.  Visits involving either an engine or ladder truck should be scheduled no

     less than 14 days in advance and will be scheduled with respect to apparatus availability.

How do I find out about employment opening with the Town of Spring Lake?

     Employment openings are posted in Town Hall, on the Town website (click

     Employment Opportunities) with the NC Employment security Commission and often are

     advertised in the Fayetteville Observer.

How do I find out who my elected officials are or more about them?

     Information about elected officials can be found at Board of Aldermen or

     Board of Election - Cumberland County NC.

How do I speak at a Town Meeting or present an item for the Board's review?
