Allen L. Coats, CLGFO

Mr. Coats is a thirty year resident of the area. He graduated from Methodist College with a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting and a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration in 1987. After graduation, he worked with local CPA’s where he audited numerous local governments and boards of education. He has more than ten years of financial management experience in local government. In January of 1999, Mr. Coats received his certification as a local government finance officer. He joined the Town of Spring Lake in November of 2000.
