Visit the police department, bring proof of insurance, proof of ownership, have a license driver. A supervisor will verify the information and release the vehicle. The hours a vehicle may be released is Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

What are the hours that I can pick up a copy of a police incident report and is there a fee for the copy?
The hours are Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and there is not fee for one copy of the report. 

How long does it take to process an incident report?
It takes about three days or more to process a report from the time the officer takes it. This means     
If you filed a report on Monday it should be ready for pick-up on Friday or shortly thereafter.
     
How long does it take to process an accident report?
It takes about five days or more to process an accident report for the time the office takes it. This means if you filed a report on Monday it should be ready for pick-up on Friday or shortly thereafter.

Do I need a solicitors permit to sale merchandise along the side of the road or on a street or highway within the town limits of Spring Lake?
Yes, and you can get a permit at the police department Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The process to approve the permit will take seven (7) or more days and the fee is $5.00.

Do I need a demonstration permit to have a parade on the streets or highways within the town limit of Spring Lake?
Yes, and you can get a permit at the police department Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The process to approve the permit will take seven (7) days or more and no fee is required.
