MISSION STATEMENT
It is the mission of the Code Enforcement Division of the Spring Lake Police Department to promote and maintain a safe and desirable living and working environment. We help maintain and improve the quality of our community by administering a fair and unbiased enforcement program to correct violations of municipal codes and land use requirements. We also work with residents, neighborhood associations, public services agencies and other City Departments.
ORDINANCES
All ordinances adopted by the Spring Lake Board of Aldermen are available for public review. The Town Clerk is the keeper of public records and is available to assist with any inquiries that you may have. The Town is currently exploring options that will enable us to put all ordinances online and make them searchable. Until that is available, the ordinances are not available online unless they are manually posted for a specific purpose. You may request an official copy of any ordinance from the Town Clerk (applicable copy fees may apply) by contacting the Office of the Clerk.

The Spring Lake Police Department is committed to upholding and enforcing all of the laws of the Town as well as those laws on a local, state and federal level which pertain to and fall within their jurisdiction. The Code Enforcement Officer is a sworn Police Officer who has stepped up and dedicated himself to local laws (ordinances) which pertain to safe and desirable living and working environments. The most specific Ordinances for the Town of Spring Lake in which the Code Enforcement Officer deals with are:
- Ordinance No. (2009) 6: Chapter 98 - Noise Ordinance
