Mendoza Park Renovations
NOTICE:
As of January 31, 2012, Mendoza Park will be CLOSED until further notice due to public safety concerns while the park undergoes repairs
and improvements.
TOTAL PROJECT:
$365,000 - State Grant
365,000 - Town Match
$730,000 - TOTAL
PROJECT INCLUDES:
- New playground equipment
- ¼ mile paved walking trail
- New concession and restroom facilities
- Five (5) park benches
- Five (5) new trash containers
- Two (2) new water fountains
- New field lighting for field re-design of field A to reposition home plate and to expand the field for multi-purpose use to include:
o New dug-outs for fields A & B
o Re-positioning of field C
o Picnic tables
o Shelter improvements
