PRESCHOOL

(Tactful Tots Preschool)

The Spring Lake Recreation Department now has preschool at the Recreation Center.  Tactful Tots Preschool will be available Monday through Thursday, 9:00 am until 12:00 pm.  Children will learn phonics and prewriting skills, reading readiness and early math, science and social studies, art and music, social skills and manners, foreign language and more!  Register your child today!  For more information about Tactful Tots Preschool and to get your child enrolled, go to www.tactfultots.com or call (910) 446-9884.  You can also stop in at the Recreation Center for more details.  The cost of the school is only $120 per month.  Late registrations are welcome but no prorated fees will be given.  Payments are due by the 1st of the month or upon registration.  Sign up today!

HULA LESSONS

(in conjunction with Pacific Pride)

Spring Lake Recreation and Parks Department, in conjunction with Pacific Pride, are please to offer Hula Lessons.  These lessons are offered on Friday Nights Only at the Spring Lake Recreation Center located at 245 Ruth Street in Spring Lake.  The lessons are offered from

6:30 - 7:30 pm for beginners and 7:35 - 8:45 pm for performers.  The cost of the lessons are $6.00 for drop-ins and $20.00 monthly.  Please bring a water bottle, hand towel, "comfy" clothes and be ready to SHAKE it!  Family & group rates are available.  For more information, contact Mrs. Guzman with Pacific Pride at (910) 580-0478 or e-mail her at pacificpride@hotmail.com.

CPR and/or ACLS CLASSES

The Spring Lake Recreation and Parks Department will be conducting CPR and/or ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) classes every Wednesday.  Classes begin Wednesday, June 1, 2011 and will be held every Wednesday, 6-8pm, for an on-going basis.  Call the Spring Lake Recreation and Parks Department at (910) 436-0011 for fees and more information.

ZUMBA FITNESS

The Spring Lake Recreation and Parks Department is pleased to offer Zumba Fitness classes.  Join the millions of people who have decided that having fun and working out are not mutually exclusive.  Join those who have a blast. Join the party!  Classes are Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6pm -7pm. DANCE CLASSES

(taught by Yvette's Dance Academy)

The Spring Lake Recreation and Parks Department has teamed with Yvette's Dance Academy to offer Dance classes.  Ballet/Tap/Tumbling is being offered for ages 3-6 and ages 7-12.  Jazz/Hip Hop is being offered for ages 7-12.  The cost is $25 per class.  Classes are Tuesday or Wednesday night 6-7pm for younger children and 7-8pm for children 7-12.  For more information call the Recreation Center at (910) 436-0011.

NEXT LEVEL MARTIAL ARTS

(Taekwondo Class)

The Spring Lake recreation and Parks Department is pleased to offer Next Level Martial Arts - Taekwondo Classes.  These classes are offered Mondays and Wednesday from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the Spring Lake Community Center.
