Recreation Advisory COMMITTEE
Mission
The mission of the Recreation Advisory Committee is to give citizens of
the community input into the operation of the Recreation & Parks Department.
Citizens may volunteer to serve on the committee by contacting any committee
member, the Town Manager, Town Recreation Director or any member of the Board
of Aldermen.
The Recreation Advisory Committee members are appointed by the Spring Lake
Board of Aldermen. Membership is comprised of six Spring Lake residents and
three residents of the Manchester Township. There are three alternates who
attend the meetings as well. The Mayor annually appoints one Aldermen to serve
as an Ex-Officio member to the committee.
Meetings are held on the third Monday of each month at 7pm in the Grady Howard
Conference Room at the Municipal Complex. Citizens may sign up for the Public
Forum 15 minutes prior to the meetings.
