Resources Director
The Water Resources Department is under the leadership of Mr. Daniel B. Gerald. Prior to Mr. Gerald coming to Spring Lake he was the Director of Public Works for another municipality located in South Carolina. He has more than 9 years of experience in water quality programs.
Daniel B. Gerald has a B.S. Degree in Environmental Science from Savannah State University; currently he is on track to receive an Executive Masters degree in Public Administration from North Carolina Central University in December 2007. Mr. Gerald brings a wealth of knowledge, skills, and abilities to the Town Spring Lake which makes him a great asset for the Water Resources Program as well as to our community.
The Water Resources Department is divided into four divisions, water distribution/collection, Wastewater treatment operations, Stormwater operations and Sanitation. The motto of the department: “We Are the Earth Services Providers”.
