In Honor of Former Mayor Ethel T. Clark
“A Woman of Action in the Great Town of Spring Lake”
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of the former Mayor Ethel Clark. Mrs. Clark served as the mayor of the Town of Spring Lake from 2001-2011 after serving 20 years on the Board of Alderman.
Funeral arrangements for the former Mayor have been entrusted to Colvin Funeral Home in Fayetteville. There will be a viewing on Tuesday, August 7, 2018 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Colvin Funeral Home, located at 2010 Murchison Road, Fayetteville. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at 9:30 a.m. at Williams Chapel Church, located at 1230 N. Bragg Blvd. in Spring Lake. A public viewing will be from 8:30 – 9:30 a.m. at the church.
Town Hall flags have been lowered to half-staff in honor of Mrs. Clark.
The Poe Bridge has been temporarily closed by DOT from 9am – 5pm everyday until further notice.
