Cumberland County American Rescue Plan hosts public meeting in Spring Lake July 15th
Cumberland County was awarded $65 million dollars through the American Rescue Plan, financial aide from the US Government that stemmed from the economic impact and the much needed relief caused by the Coronavirus across the nation.
The Cumberland County American Rescue Plan Committee, and the Mayor’s Coalition, were recently briefed by County Manager, Amy Cannon regarding authorized usage of the funds, and they are offering its ears to the public, asking for their help and ideas on how best to put to use said funding amongst the county and it’s municipalities.
Between holding several public meetings throughout the county and asking for residents’ input and ideas through an online survey, they are gathering as much public input as they can to apply funding where it is most beneficial and needed.
The attached PDF provides more in depth details and the dates and times of upcoming meetings as well as the link to the survey.
