“The Health Department reports one Cumberland County resident has died of COVID-19 since March 19, bringing the total to 290 deaths. There have been 25,555 cases reported since the onset of the pandemic.
Cumberland County’s COVID-19 positive test rate is at 6.7%. The World Health Organization recommends a positive rate of 5%.
The N.C. Department of Health and Human Services reports that 15.1% of Cumberland County’s population is at least partially vaccinated and 10.8% is fully vaccinated.
There are 14 providers in Cumberland County offering vaccinations at 20 locations.
