LIEAP (Low Income Energy Assistance) applications open up january 4th 2021

Beginning January 4th, 2021, households with low incomes may now begin applying for assistance with their energy costs through the LIEAP program.

Up until December 31st, the program was open to the elderly and/or disabled. Now it will open up for the remaining qualifying households.

This program allows for a one-time payment to aide with your heating costs, and will run from Jan. 4th, 2021 – March 31st, 2021…..or until the funds are used up, whichever comes first.
