Recreation Advisory Committee

 Mission

The mission of the Recreation Advisory Committee is to give citizens of the community input into the operation of the Recreation & Parks Department. Citizens may volunteer to serve on the committee by contacting any committee member, the Town Manager, Town Recreation Director, the Town Clerk or any member of the Board of Aldermen.

The Recreation Advisory Committee members are appointed by the Spring Lake Board of Aldermen.

Membership is comprised of six Spring Lake residents and three residents of the Manchester Township.
There are three alternates who attend the meetings as well. The Mayor annually appoints one Aldermen to serve as an Ex-Officio member to the committee.

Meetings are held on the third Monday of each month at 7pm.
Citizens may sign up for the Public Forum 15 minutes prior to the meetings.

If you live inside the city limits of Spring Lake and would like to serve on this committee, please complete an application and turn it in to the Town Clerk.
