The Recreation Department will begin opening to the public, with a few limitations in place, on Monday, May 3rd. Please visit their Facebook page for updates.
Their current hours will be from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m.
Beginning February 12th, 2021, Spring Lake Recreation and Parks outdoor park areas will open up to the public.
This includes the basketball and tennis courts as well.
No more than 50 residents may be present at one time, and social distancing and COVID protocols must be followed, to include wearing a mask.
Staff will monitor and enforce any and all safety issues, and facilities and equipment will be cleaned and sanitized to adhere to COVID guidelines as necessary.
The Spring Lake Recreation and Parks Department provides activities for people of all ages,
with a strong emphasis on our youth, through our Recreation Center and gymnasium, our satellite parks,
walking trails, green ways, special activities, programs, events and other facilities.
As you begin to fill your family’s calendar, don’t forget to include
all of the recreational opportunities the Town of Spring Lake
Recreation Department offers.

As Director of the Recreation and Parks Department, Jay is responsible for overseeing the entire Recreation and Parks Department
for the Town of Spring Lake, which includes, but is not limited to, the Community Center at 245 Ruth Street, the network of the Town’s multiple park facilities, all of our
recreational activities, the sports coordinated by the Town of Spring Lake, any inter-local agreements entered into by the Recreation Department,
programs run out of the Recreation Department and our related facilities, our fitness room, budgeting and much more.
