Renters facing eviction or utility cut-offs can now apply for a grant

NC Gov. Roy Cooper has opened the application process for the NC Housing Opportunities and Prevention of Evictions grant program, or HOPE.
The program is to assist low and moderate income families that may be facing eviction from their landlords or utility cut-offs.
Applicants can apply online at NC211.org/hope, or for those who do not have access to the internet, you can dial 2-1-1 and ask to speak to a representative of the HOPE program.
