In the CALENDAR OF EVENTS, you will find that the Spring Lake Senior Enrichment Center places special emphasis on social interaction and physical activity. And why wouldn’t we? It is important to the vitality of all people. Some of the activities you will find in our calendar include :

Special Parties, Intergenerational Programs, Bowling League, Senior Games, Silver Arts-Craft and Performing Competition, Silver Striders Walking Club, Various Craft Programs,  Exercise Classes, Senior Club Activities, Holiday Activities, Bingo, a Sewing Room, a Computer Lab, Bible Study, Various Craft Programs, Community Outreach and Involvement, educational classes, nutritional classes, health screenings,  social gatherings, workshops and much, much more!

This calendar lists all the planned, coordinated events and activities, workshops, classes, trips and opportunities you can plug into and take advantage of for the month. The calendar gives you the chance to plan when you can participate based on YOUR SCHEDULE.

We constantly strive to live up to our motto, “You’re never too old to have the best day of your life.” In order to do this, we don’t just view you as another customer or visitor. Instead, you are a part of the family. And here in Spring Lake, we believe in family.

In addition to the multitude of social activities we offer at the Senior Center, we also offer an array of services that cater to the well-being, health and safety of our aging population.
A few of these services include :
– congregate meals
– health screenings
– nutritional classes
– educational classes
– hands on safety classes
– access to other agencies
– information about services
– assistance as needed

One of our goals at the Spring Lake Senior Enrichment Center is to enhance the lives of those we work with. When we say, “join the community” we mean you become part of a group that is committed to helping each other out. It is a support network, a social network, a resource, a place to learn and feel comfortable.

That is why we are always finding new and innovative ways to make life easier for those we serve. For example, check out our lending closet. This amazing resource allows folks to share assistive devices (such as walkers, canes and crutches) that are no longer needed with folks who have a need but may not have access to them any other way. Our staff is more than happy to work with you to receive donations or “lend” a donation. Just ask. (click on image on the right to enlarge.)
