LET US HELP YOU
We constantly strive to live up to our motto, “You’re never too old to have the best day of your life.” In order to do this, we don’t just view you as another customer or visitor. Instead, you are a part of the family. And here in Spring Lake, we believe in family.
In addition to the multitude of social activities we offer at the Senior Center, we also offer an array of services that cater to the well-being, health and safety of our aging population.
A few of these services include :
– congregate meals (must apply)
– health screenings on the second Wednesday of each month at 9:30a.m. ( a representative from the Health Department is on-site)
– access to other agencies
– information about services
– assistance as needed
One of our goals at the Spring Lake Senior Enrichment Center is to enhance the lives of those we work with. When we say, “join the community” we mean you become part of a group that is committed to helping each other out. It is a support network, a social network, a resource, a place to learn and feel comfortable.
That is why we are always finding new and innovative ways to make life easier for those we serve. For example, check out our lending closet. This amazing resource allows folks to share assistive devices (such as walkers, canes and crutches) that are no longer needed with folks who have a need, but may not have access to them any other way. Our staff is more than happy to work with you to receive donations or “lend” a donation. Just ask. (click on image on the right to enlarge.)
Want to know what the NEWEST and MOST TALKED ABOUT event going on at the Senior Center right now is?
It would be our new Art Classes each Tuesday and Thursday with Anthony Morrison, a local Fayetteville artist who has had his work published and displayed all over the eastern coast!!
Don’t miss out! Check back for the next exciting adventure… then sign up today!
