Taxpayers Reminded of Feb. 1 Listing Deadline

Jan 21, 2021

The Cumberland County Tax Administration Office reminds citizens that the deadline for the 2021 annual property tax listing period is normally Jan. 31, but due to that date being a Sunday, taxpayers will have until Monday, Feb. 1. Listing forms must be updated, signed, and returned and must be postmarked by the United States Postal Service no later than Feb. 1 to avoid the 10% late listing penalty.

Listing forms may be obtained online at co.cumberland.nc.us/tax then navigate to Forms & Publications or in person at the Tax Administration Office located on the 5th floor of the Judge E. Maurice Braswell Cumberland County Courthouse at 117 Dick St.

Mail listing forms to Tax Administration, P.O. Box 449, Fayetteville, NC 28302, or bring in person to Room 530 of the Courthouse.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, anyone entering the Courthouse is required to wear a mask or face covering and to receive a temperature check.
