Daniel B. Gerald Town Manager
Welcome to the Town of Spring Lake, North Carolina!
My name is Daniel B. Gerald and I am the Town Manager for The Town of Spring Lake. The Town Manager is appointed by the Town Council and operates under the Council Manager Form of Government.
The Council-Manager form of government is the system of local government that combines the strong political leadership of elected officials, in the form of a council or other governing body, with the strong managerial experience of an appointed local government manager.
In addition to being responsible for the daily operations of the Town, I provide recommendations to the Town Council on a variety of issues and projects, ensure that the Town codes and ordinances are enforced, and that services are provided to the residents of our community in an efficient and cost-effective manner.
The Town of Spring Lake is rapidly growing, as well as experiencing many new growing pains. The Town of Spring Lake welcomes new residents, new businesses and looks forward to a brighter tomorrow. If the Town Manager’s office can be of any assistance, please contact me by using the citizen comment section on our home page.
